Kelly Carroll is an experienced content creator and editor with a background in digital publishing and content marketing.
A 2017 graduate of the Sports Management Program, Carroll is currently a content editor at Columbia Law School, where she serves as a copyeditor, producer, and writer for the school’s digital platforms and print marketing materials. She also serves as a freelance copywriter, writing and editing content to improve clients’ website SEO for specific campaigns and initiatives, and producing content in keeping with clients’ brand strategy, tone, and voice for optimal brand consistency.
Prior to Columbia, Carroll pursued work in both college sports and journalism. While earning an undergraduate degree at Boston College, she served as manager of the men’s basketball team, which earned a trip to the ACC finals and the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 in her senior year. She was named “Manager of the Year” in 2006. Carroll also earned a master’s degree in journalism from Boston University and spent time as a reporter covering the 110th Congress and local news.
Carroll has previously worked for the Sports Management Program as a social media intern and a course assistant for "Digital Sports Media and Marketing." She now oversees the program’s Independent Study course.
