Jack Olive

Lecturer

Jack Olive is a senior marketing and communications executive with a disciplined approach to solving problems intelligently and cost-effectively. His strengths include a comprehensive understanding of strategic planning and brand positioning built from broad experience; extensive business development, tactical marketing, and communications capabilities; a recognized ability to organize and inspire teams that produce strong results; and exceptional written and oral communications skills.

He has been an instructor for the Master’s Programs in Strategic Communication at Columbia University’s School of Professional Studies since 2013.

From 1997 to 2006, Olive was Executive Director and Member of the Global Marketing Leadership Team at KPMG LLP. His responsibilities included all marketing and communications efforts for the Health Care & Public Sector practice; participation in the firm’s first global rebranding effort; and oversight of the firm’s proprietary client care/customer relationship program and of KPMG Insiders, a portfolio of daily digital industry news alerts.

Prior to KPMG, Olive held VP and Senior VP roles at Lintas Advertising (now MullenLowe Group), product manager roles at Nabisco Brands (now Mondelez and Kraft Foods Group), and account oversight roles at Dancer Fitzgerald Sample Advertising (now Saatchi & Saatchi).
