Daniella Uribe is Senior ERM Modeler at SimErgy Consulting, a company that specializes exclusively in enterprise risk management consulting. Daniella leads the risk modeling portion of client engagements, spanning organizations in both financial and non-financial sectors, as well as non-corporate entities such as education and research. Her work involves all aspects of client ERM implementations/advancements, including: risk identification, risk measurement, risk decision making, and risk messaging. Uribe has extensive experience and expertise in the practical yet advanced value-based ERM approach – a synthesis of ERM and value-based management that allows ERM to support routine business decision making such as strategic planning, strategic and tactical decisions, and transactions, in addition to mitigation decisions.
Prior to SimErgy, Uribe was a compliance analyst at a workers’ compensation insurance company, where she analyzed premium and loss data in support of financial reporting to regulators, including the National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI).
Uribe is Lecturer for the Capstone course in the ERM Master’s degree program at Columbia University, and has served as part of their faculty since fall 2016.
