Christine Summerson is a communications strategist and editor with more than 25 years experience in the magazine industry. She was an associate editor for business development at BusinessWeek, editor of the reader letters section for five years, speechwriter for the editor-in-chief, and directed the magazine’s public relations department for eight years.
She has consulted for clients in technology and consumer electronics, strategic branding, finance, nonprofits, medical products, healthcare, lifestyle, fitness, and book publishing.
In the Executive Master of Science in Strategic Communication program at Columbia University’s School of Professional Studies, she teaches The Power of Opinion. Formerly she taught Strategic Writing and has been an associate for Power of Opinion and Building Internal Engagement. She is also an associate for The Strategic Storyteller course with Columbia/Universidad CEU San Pablo.
