Aleksandra Chancy

Lecturer; Founder and Principal, DACK Consulting

Aleksandra Chancy is a Professional Engineer and President of DACK Consulting Solutions (DACK). With over 25 years in the design and construction industry, and having worked on governmental, educational, residential, industrial, and commercial projects, she is an expert in her fields of Estimating, Construction Management, and Scheduling. Ms. Chancy started DACK back in 1997 and through her leadership, has continued to grow and cultivate the company. Some of DACK’s major and recent projects include Fulton Street Station ($195M), the 2nd Avenue Tunnel, New York Historical Society ($34M), Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge ($3.1B), SUNY Purchase College New Dormitory ($30M), Jacob Javits Center ($1B) and Bronx Mental Health Campus ($80M). Prior to DACK, she was a Project Manager for York Hunter Construction in New York City and a Senior Design Engineer for Stephen Perlof Design Engineers in Los Angeles. Ms. Chancy holds a Masters in Civil Engineering from Purdue University; and two Bachelor’s degrees in Architecture and Civil Engineering from the University of Miami.
