Moses Adoko, Ph.D.

Dr. Moses Adoko is currently the Chief Knowledge Officer (CKO) of the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. Prior to his appointment as the Goddard CKO, he served as Deputy Chief Knowledge Officer for NASA. In that capacity, he supported the NASA Chief Engineer and the Agency Chief Knowledge Officer in ensuring that the agency’s technical workforce and practitioners have access to critical knowledge to increase the likelihood of mission success. He provided leadership to ensure execution of the agency’s knowledge management vision, including delivery of learning programs based on well-researched technical policies, proven practices, and standards.
Dr. Adoko is recognized as a leading expert in program and project management; science, technology, and engineering development workforce learning; knowledge management; and educational programs implementation. He has over twenty-one years of demonstrated experience designing and leading the execution of complex learning and educational programs across government, industry, and academia, as well as among international organizations and partners.
Currently, he leads and directs programs designed to cultivate and sustain a learning culture at NASA Goddard, while providing oversight and management of technical knowledge assets, strategic learning, education, and innovation that promotes mission success. He has implemented strategic programs, processes, and tools for lessons learned, and critical knowledge identification, sharing, and application. In addition, he serves as program manager of the Goddard Senior Fellows, a scientific and technical advisory committee that advises the Center Director on issues related to research policy, strategy, and innovative solutions.
Dr. Adoko has supported various technical projects, including the development and implementation of NASA Systems Engineering Procedural Requirements (NPR 7123.1) policy. He also led the design and implementation of the NASA systems engineering and project management curricula for the NASA Academy of Program, Project, and Engineering Leadership.
Dr. Adoko has conducted multiple workforce development sessions across NASA on various topics and subjects, and as an adjunct faculty at the George Washington University’s School of Engineering and Applied Science. He is a recipient of various awards, including the NASA GSFC Robert H. Goddard Award for Excellence in Analysis, Innovation, and Creativity for 2012.
