Chris Reitz is Director of Digital Product Strategy at Anthem (Fortune 25 health insurer) where he uses research, human-centered design, and agile test and learn methods to reduce friction and improve health outcomes for healthcare stakeholders. Chris was previously Head of Product at Heroic, a startup building a new kind of social network to support wellness and personal development. Chris serves on the board of directors of multiple non-profits and leads strategic planning for a 130+ year old organization that teaches teens critical thinking, leadership, and social responsibility through experiential learning, service, and community activism.
Chris obtained his undergraduate degree in Computer Science from Transylvania University and his Masters in Information and Knowledge Strategy (IKNS) from Columbia University, focused on Innovation, Strategy, Product Management, and Technology. Since graduating from Columbia in 2014, he has remained involved with the Information & Knowledge Strategy (IKNS) and Applied Analytics programs, supporting both instruction and research.
