Access to Handshake
- Handshake policy: Handshake is a job board mainly serving undergraduate students. Due to Handshake’s one-school, one-account policy, Columbia University’s Center for Career Education (CCE) currently holds sole possession of Columbia’s Handshake account.
- Creating a personal Handshake account: If your undergraduate institution is a Handshake school, you create your own account. Click here and input your undergraduate institution email address and complete the profile. If you have questions about this resource, please visit the Handshake Help Resources or contact Handshake directly through that page.
- SPS Job Board: The Career Design Lab welcomes our students to join SPS TALENT, powered by 12twenty which is a recruitment platform for top companies around the world. This platform is used by graduate and business schools such as Harvard, Princeton, and Dartmouth. Starting December of 2020, the students from the School of Professional Studies will be able to claim their 12twenty account with Columbia UNI and be part of the career community.
