Dan Giuffrida is a Vice President in Finance at Safari Energy, a turnkey commercial scale solar developer based in New York. He manages and leads the finance team at Safari, with a focus on tailoring financial solutions for clients and structuring and arranging debt, lease, and tax equity financing. In this role, he has been involved in developing over 70 MW of projects in operation at Safari.
Prior to joining Safari, Giuffrida was a Lok Capital Fellow at Suryoday Microfinance where he led new market strategy & product development. Previously, he was an investment banking analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch where he focused on the Power, Utilities & Renewables industry. At BAML, Giuffrida was responsible for conducting complex financial analysis on mergers, acquisitions, and debt and equity capital transactions in excess of $3 billion. He received an M.S. in Sustainability Management from Columbia University and holds a B.A. cum laude in Economics from Wake Forest University.
