The Earth Institute and the School of Professional Studies Master of Science in Sustainability Management Practicum presents Creating a Market for Renewable Energy, with Curtis Probst, Managing Director, Rocky Mountain Institute.

Probst leads the sustainable finance practice, bringing 24 years of financial market expertise to a broad range of energy and sustainability issues. Prior to joining RMI, he worked at Goldman, Sachs & Co. for over 15 years in New York, most recently as a managing director in their investment banking division. He is an accredited LEED Green Associate, a Chartered Financial Analyst, and a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Stamford.

This talk will center on strategies for overcoming obstacles to the financing of large scale renewable energy projects.
