Sustainability Principles Information Session

Date

Mar 22, 2016 - 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Location

Columbia University, Jerome Greene Hall, 435 W 116th St, New York, NY 10027, Room JG104

The Earth Institute and the Environmental Stewardship office at Columbia University invite all students, faculty, researchers, and staff to participate in the formation of the Columbia University Sustainability Principles. The purpose of the Principles will be to provide a high level vision to support and advance sustainability on all of Columbia’s campuses. Members of the university community may attend any of three events to hear about and comment on the proposed draft Principles. The events will take place at the Morningside, Medical Center, and Lamont campuses, respectively. At each event, attendees will have the opportunity to meet with campus experts who can answer questions about campus sustainability initiatives underway, and then attend a moderated discussion where they can provide feedback on the proposed Principles.

The Principles, in draft form, are available for review online. Review how the Principles will connect with the sustainability planning process underway.

Seating is limited and will be provided on a first-come first-served basis. For questions regarding the event, please contact Cassie Xu.
