Sabrina N. Hannam is Executive Partner and Chair of the Management Committee of the full-service Law Office of Sabrina N. Hannam, LLC where she has a corporate practice concentrating on professional sports, owners, teams, media companies, private equity firms, venture capital transactions, stadium and arena deals and financings, and joint ventures.
She regularly represents clients in domestic and cross-border business transactions, including representing the executive management of Barclays Center, a sports and media arena, in the expansion or divestiture of certain business units spanning from Russia to Brooklyn and leading and advising the executive management of the Brooklyn Nets, an American professional basketball franchise, in the evaluation of strategic partnerships.
Hannam advises public companies, their boards of directors, and senior management on a full range of corporate governance matters. Through leadership roles in various philanthropic initiatives, she is engaged in celebrity philanthropy, including serving on a committee honoring Chief Legal Baseball Officer of Major League Baseball Joe Torre and other ventures.
Hannam received a Certificate in Business and Public Policy in the Wharton Certificate Program from University of Pennsylvania, Wharton Graduate School of Business, earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, and was a Juris Doctorate candidate at University of California, Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall).
She is a frequent speaker and lecturer on business and legal topics in sports, and is an Adjunct Lecturer in Columbia University’s School of Professional Studies’ Master of Science in Sports Management program.
