Mohammad Zaidi serves as Director of Gift Planning and Special Campaigns with the American Civil Liberties Union, where he formerly held the position of Director of Major and Planned Gifts.
In his career, over the past 25 years, he has held fundraising positions with The New York Public Library, Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Boy Scouts of America Greater New York Councils, and the National Audubon Society.
Zaidi is a past president of the Philanthropic Planning Group of Greater New York, and a member of the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning. He is a frequent speaker on management issues for gift planning programs, and the intersection of gift planning with direct marketing and with comprehensive fundraising campaigns.
Zaidi is the coauthor of a white paper on the long-term impacts of bequest challenge matches. He holds a B.S. in Economics from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
