Beth Fisher-Yoshida Co-Authors Book on Coordinated Management of Meaning

Beth Fisher-Yoshida, the Director of the Negotiation and Conflict Resolution program and also a faculty member, recently co-authored the new book Communicating Possibilities: A Brief Introduction to the Coordinated Management of Meaning (CMM). In it, Dr. Fisher-Yoshida and her co-author Ilene C. Wasserman write about CMM, a practical theory which provides an approach for looking at our social interactions. By looking at social interactions through the framework of CMM, people can strengthen the quality of their communication, interactions, and storytelling.

Veronica Chen of San Francisco State University describes the book as something that "provides valuable resources and tools that facilitate an ongoing conversation filled with new possibilities."
