Roi Ben-Yehuda is a lecturer at the Negotiation and Conflict Resolution program at Columbia University and the department of Sociology at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. He specializes in conflict resolution, communication, and negotiation. He is currently working on his doctorate, which explores the way in which high-tech organizations develop constructive conflict cultures, from the School of Conflict Analysis and Resolution at George Mason University.
Ben-Yehuda holds MS and MA degrees from Columbia University and the Jewish Theological Seminary respectively, and completed his B.A. degree at New School University. His articles have been featured in several international publications and translated into multiple languages including French, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Hebrew, Urdu, and Indonesian.
In addition to his academic pursuits, Ben-Yehuda is a trainer at LifeLabs New York where he helps people at innovative companies (like Sqaurespace, Tumblr, Venmo, WeWork, and Warby Parker) master life’s most useful skills. He is also the cofounder of Trans Models, NYC’s first transgender modeling agency.
