Experience Columbia University and gain an edge in the College Edge: Academic Year & Summer program! If you’re an academically exceptional high school student, you can apply to take courses with Columbia students and earn full college credit. As a College Edge student, you’ll:

  • join the same courses as Columbia students;
  • receive an Ivy League achievement for your college transcript;
  • obtain academic advising and professional development; and
  • gain a real-world experience at an Ivy League institution.

College Edge: Academic Year & Summer is open to domestic high school students who live within commuting distance of Columbia’s main campus in New York City. The Fall and Spring programs are open to students in grades 11 or 12, and the Summer program is open to students entering grades 11 through 12 or freshman year of college in the fall.

During this online information session, program administrators will highlight the features and experience of College Edge, and help you choose the options best suited for you and your desired goals. You will have opportunities to ask questions about the program, the application process, Columbia resources, and more.
