Fall & Spring Semester Courses
During the Fall (September–December) and Spring (January–May) semesters, Visiting High School Students can choose from more than 3,000 academic courses in over 100 subject areas. One semester runs about 14 weeks.

Course Seats and Required Preparation
Admitted students may register for any course for which they are prepared–i.e., any noted prerequisites must be fulfilled.
In over-enrolled courses, Columbia degree candidates often have priority over non-degree students.
