Yevgeniy Davydov has been a Research Scientist at the New York City Fire Department (FDNY). There, he applied statistical and econometric models to the analysis of EMS response times as well as the Risk Based Building Inspection (RBIS) model. His research spans the areas of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), operational risk management, empirical corporate finance, corporate governance, and insurance.
Davydov has published a research paper titled: Testing the Effectiveness of ERM: Evidence from Operational Losses. His research has been presented at various peer-reviewed conferences such as the Financial Management Association (FMA), the Midwest Finance Association (MFA), the Australasian Finance and Banking Conference (AFBC), the International Finance and Banking Society (IFABS), as well as the American Risk and Insurance Association (ARIA).
He received his Ph.D. in Risk Management & Insurance from Temple University - Fox School of Business, M.S. in Enterprise Risk Management from St. John's University - School of Risk Management, and B.S. in Mathematics from NYU Tandon School of Engineering.
