SPS Community Relations Programs Highlighted in University Publications

Columbia University recently featured SPS Community Relations Programs in two of its publications, Growing Together and the Columbia News website.

Growing Together, the monthly newsletter for Columbia University’s Manhattanville campus in West Harlem, promoted the Community Scholars Dialogue on April 11, as well as the SPS-Emeritus Professors in Columbia (EPIC) Spring 2018 Speakers Series. The Community Scholars Program is designed to support and facilitate the work of scholars in the community with scholarships and access to all University resources. Since 2013, 22 community residents have been chosen to participate in the program.

Columbia News and its print publication The Record featured a major article with news about Emeritus Professors in Columbia (EPIC), including the SPS-EPIC Spring 2018 Speakers Series. The series, ranging from February to June 2018, features Columbia Emeritus professors addressing their areas of expertise. Topics include sacred literature, New York City history, and engineering history.
