Strategic Communication Alum to Receive “40 Under Forty” Achievement Award

Leslie Pitterson (’12SPS, Strategic Communication), Vice President of Communications, U.S. Media at Nielsen, has been named recipient of a “40 Under Forty” Achievement Award by The Network Journal, a news website and quarterly magazine for African-American professionals, corporate executives, and small-business owners.

The annual award recognizes outstanding young achievers who are “reaching for higher goals” in their careers while remaining committed to their community’s development.

In a LinkedIn post, Pitterson wrote: “Grateful for the support from my mentors and colleagues and the opportunity to share this honor with this year’s class.”
