Bill Schroeder is an independent branding, identity and strategic design consultant. He helps leading organizations develop and implement corporate branding and identity programs.
During his career on both the agency and client sides, Schroeder has worked with a roster of diverse organizations including Associated Press, BBC, Weil Gotshal & Manges, White & Case, Morgan Stanley, The Campbell Soup Company, Timberland, ITN, Eurovision, Spherion and Rainforest Alliance, as well as many others.
Schroeder began his career at Landor Associates in New York, the leading international branding consultancy within the WPP family of creative agencies. After leaving Landor he was a founding principal at TippingSprung, the boutique branding and naming agency, where he developed and led the design services group. Prior to his move to consulting, Schroeder was the global director of brand management for DLA Piper, the world's largest law firm.
Schroeder holds a master's degree in design management from Pratt Institute in New York and a bachelor's degree in architecture from Virginia Tech. He has taught numerous graduate level course at Pratt including design management, design futures and management communications. He has also lectured at New York University and Parsons School of Design on topics related to branding and design.
