Dana Chandler is a data scientist and economist who has worked as a data scientist in both the private sector and as an academic.
Chandler worked in the insurance industry building models of customer behavior (e.g., churn modeling) and he worked with Civis Analytics, a data science consulting firm founded by members of the analytics team from the 2012 Obama Campaign.
In that capacity, he led teams of analysts and data scientists to help solve client problems.
Before that, he completed a Ph.D. in Economics from MIT where he designed and ran online experiments (A/B tests) in collaboration with an online jobs site.
Prior to his dissertation, he also worked in management consulting (at BCG) and in private equity.
