25th Annual Actuarial Career Day

Jan 12, 2014 - 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Columbia University, Alfred Lerner Hall

The 25th-annual Actuarial Career Day, produced by the Actuarial Society of Greater New York, will provide firsthand industry information for those interested in an actuarial career.

Attendees will be able to learn about permanent employment and internship opportunities, and to speak with practicing actuaries, obtain literature, and submit résumés. Major insurance organizations and consulting firms will be represented and there will be ample time for informal, one-on-one discussion. Complimentary refreshments and lunch will be served.

College freshmen through graduate students are welcome as well as professionals interested in the actuarial field as a future career. Welcome attendees include students of actuarial science, mathematics, economics, computer science, finance, and business, as well as their professors and career counselors.

There is no registration fee if you register on or before December 15, 2013. A late fee will apply starting December 16, 2013. Attendees must fill out and return the registration form linked to below. Instructions on submitting the form are included on the form itself.

If you don’t receive a confirmation by January 8, 2014, or if you have any questions about registration or the event, please contact Terri or Pauline at 516-935-0100 or email ActuaryCareerDay@aol.com.
